Parent Update #10

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Fr. Naveen and the Chair of the Parish Pastoral Council have both approached the HSA Monday, 12th October, and indicated that the Archdiocese is now reviewing our proposal and will be discussing any proposed solutions with Cayman parties before finalizing. This was relayed to our committee.
We have asked that representation from this sub-committee, the party that created the document be part of this consultation. We believe that the only viable long-standing solution is one that incorporates the parents’ views and suggestions geared to alleviate their concerns. We have also asked that there be an agreed timeline as we feel it is important that this continues to move forward and that all parties work towards the same timeline.
We view this as the first step in this process and are hopeful that this will be a timely, consultative and collaborative process that will return stability to the school in the very short term. As always, we will keep you informed.
We also would like to clarify that up to now, we have not presented any information or given any statement to the media. Our website, stignatiusparents.org, contains all our information for anyone to view. Media requests received have simply been directed to our website.
We look forward to updating you in person at the next HSA meeting; however, are not able to confirm at date as the it not yet been rescheduled from its postponement on Monday 12th October.
